Chocolate Seashells On Valentines Day
Last year's Valentines day was charming. After dinner and an evening cruise, we skipped off to a precious bed and breakfast. But, before our cruise, I received a delightful box of chocolate seashells.
I received a lovely box of chocolate seashells for a Valentines gift and I could not have been more surprised. I was surprised because the chocolates came as my husband was telling about the great weekend he had planned.
The chocolate seashells were almost to pretty to eat. The delicious tiny sea shell shaped chocolates tasted absolutely wonderful. I still get goose bumps every time I think about them. My husband ordered the fantastic chocolate seashells in a Godiva chocolate gift basket. And what can be said about Godiva chocolates that has not already been said a thousand times? Since that experience, it is quite possible that my favorite sweet has been replaced by none other than chocolate seashells.
Before the delightful chocolate gift basket, he gave me roses to begin our romantic evening. I received the customary roses on the way to dinner, which turned out to be at a marvelous seafood restaurant. It was fine dining at its best. White linen napkins and table cloth, candles and soft piano music in the background. We finished dinner with a drink on the balcony over looking the beach. Watching the magnificent sunset could have only been enhanced by a Godiva chocolate seashell.
To complete our romantic Valentines Day evening, we took a cruise around the bay. Our table on the boat was on the upper deck allowing the soft winds to blow across our table the entire cruise. It was as beautiful of a night as one might imagine.
When the lovely cruise around the bay ended, we wasted no time in driving to the bed and breakfast. Although it had been a wonderful evening, we were both beginning to tire. So, it was fortunate that it was a short trip to the bed and breakfast. Once we arrived and checked in, I found the Godiva chocolate seashells to enticing to resist. These sweets have to be some of the best confectionaries that have ever crossed my lips.
That was the most memorable Valentines Day I have ever had. It was romantic, fun and peaceful. Yes, peaceful, there is nothing like getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life for a while. Plus, I discovered a new favorite sweet- Godiva Chocolate Seashells.
